Camino Fashion Trends: Sneakers

At the beginning of each school year we can see apparent trends begin to surface. Going to a uniformed school such as Camino gives us limited options to express ourselves through fashion or accessories – nonetheless, we students find a way.
Last year we saw black and white Air Force 1s by Nike all around school. These shoes' clean look, comfortability and practicality made it an ideal choice for many students.
This year we have seen a stark change. The shoes of popular activewear brand On cloud have been flooding the hallways. These shoes come in various color ways and styles that promote activity such as running and hiking. The popularity of these shoes in camino has skyrocketed. Some students even have lists of how many pairs of these sneakers they have seen with some results higher than 30 pairs.
Many can see how this shoe is appealing. It has a modern and technical look and is also super comfortable. Furthermore, the amount of different types of this sneaker that On Cloud offers, gives students a sense of individuality while making a practical sneaker choice for school.
From a fashion standpoint, the rise of this shoe was easily predictable not only for Camino, but for the world. In the past two years, the tech wear style has been gaining traction. Tech wear is a style of clothing and shoes meant for practical outdoor use.
Recently, many have found brands offering tech wear extremely appealing for their futuristic vibe. Good examples of this style are Arc'teryx and The North Face.
